Thanks for the replies and info. I did download Rhino 360 and I’m going to play around with some different ideas. I have no idea how construct longitudinal seams that are as strong as radial ones, but several of the European packrafts seem to use them in whitewater versions, so I’m interested in learning more.

I was reading about the latest Anfibio ultralight packraft and something jumped out at me. “The entire boat consists of only three main segments (compared to normally 11 individual segments). This is achieved through circumferential, horizontally arranged seams (instead of several radial…[Read more]

I’m really impressed with them. I put them on my Rapid Rafts, so I had to measure and cut the outline myself. Besides that, the decks came together pretty easily, and I’m super happy with the results so thought I would share.

Hello,

I had a quick question in regards to attaching something to my packraft. I want to attach a flexible, magnetic strip to the top of the tube (think of a thin fridge magnet in terms of thickness and flexibility) so on flat water I can set my metal cup on in and it will stay put.

What kind of glue or adhesive should I use to attach something…[Read more]
