Eliot’s V3 DIY Packraft
Eliot G. kindly sent pictures and descriptions of his spray deck, back band, and thigh straps. I’ve made that into a permanent post here under the How-To menu so it won’t get buried in the blog.
I also wrote a page about making a large inflatable drybag for use as a packraft “trailer” to carry hundreds of pounds of gear, which is something a few people have asked about. That’s posted here. It’s mostly just a math exercise at this point, but I’ll probably make one to see what it feels like to tow a heavy load.
I’ve re-enabled sales of black 210D fabric, as I’m expecting a new shipment to arrive later this month.
