Note: There is a bug in the forum software that causes some people’s full names to be displayed next to their forum posts, even if they have selected the “Private” option next to the name field when they signed up. Until the software is updated with a bug fix, if you don’t want your full name displayed publicly please delete your surname in your profile settings. (Click the Forum menu, select Profile, and then click Edit.)
I take your privacy very seriously.
When you make a purchase through this website, Stripe handles all of your credit card information (it’s not transmitted to DIY Packraft).
DIY Packraft collects your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number so I can ship your order and communicate with you as necessary. (I will never use your phone number, but your local postal service or customs office might need to phone you.) Your information may be stored on my local network and may be backed up in a cloud-based data storage service.
DIY Packraft will never intentionally distribute your personal information to third parties, except as required to fulfill your order (for example, it will be transmitted electronically to Canada Post in order to ship your parcel), or as requested by you, or as required by law.
If I ever learn of a data breach that affects you, I will notify you in a timely manner.
