Alpine Paddling

Yesterday three of us went for a hike in the alpine above the valley where I live, and I brought a packraft in case we felt like going for a paddle. I’m glad I did, because in spite of the cold and rain, it was great fun. We were probably the first people to ever paddle a boat in this lake, which is at about 1800 metres (5900′), high above the nearest road.
