To make a project of your own design, you’ll need to check the width of the fabric you intend to use (on the product page) and then figure out the most efficient layout for your patterns to see how many linear meters of fabric you should purchase.

I find it helpful to print out the shapes in miniature and play with them like a jigsaw puzzle until I find the most efficient layout. There are computer programs that can do this for you, but the ones I’ve tried are not very good and you can get better results by hand.

Note that if the fabric you’re using is coated with TPU on one side only, when planning the cut layout for an asymmetrical shape the individual shapes must all be facing the same way – if you arrange some face up and some face down, the TPU will end up on the wrong side of some pieces.

How much fabric would I need to make two medium sized rafts with 40d tubes and 210d floors + two 40d seats?

Hi Michael, 2 m of 210D and 9 m of 40D would be enough. Cheers!

I think 5 yards would be enough.

Hello Matt! I have two first-generation Yakkair HP-2 kayaks. I want to replace the side struts on them. I need about 10 yards of fabric. Could you make them for me to the specified dimensions? Thank you.

I’m sorry I can’t cut the fabric for you or assemble the tubes, I only provide the bulk fabric.
