    Hi,

Really feel for you. I know that feeling when a project goes sour and you just work in frustration and anger.

If it is in EU I might be interested. But to be totally honest, you wont get all your money back as it is sounds like a gamble. I have built one myself but my brother is also interested in one and I might build it for him as a…[Read more]

If you have a cargofly you could simply use one or more beach balls and put it inside before inflating it. It will keep it afloat and you have something to play with when waiting for rescue 🙂

    Hi,

Started looking for other gear to make while the ice still prevents me from launching my raft. Next on the wish list is a PFD, but I don’t want a bulky or heavy one, so inflatable with a similar design as the seat is what I’m thinking.

Closest to something you can buy is this:…[Read more]

    Thanks!

I think I will make the next one within a couple of weeks if I can find the time. I will take some better pictures of the process and add some measurements

    Success!

I might do take some more explaining pictures when I make the next one if others are thinking of something similar.

The tube to circular patch was the tricky part to figure out but eventually I found a easy method. The 8 pizza/flaps pieces are overlapped so that there is no gaps but I reinforced with seamgrip just to be sure.

    Tanks!

I will go straight for that when I’m  testing, just a little worried that the perfect position will be over the floor/tube joint. But will take that on as it comes, otherwise I guess you could leave a flap from that joint and trim it as an attachment later. But for a first build it might be to tricky for my skill and risk of being th…[Read more]

    Thanks!

I will defently add it after its finished. One downside of it will be that it kind off get in the way of stored gear but i guess it wont be that much of a downside if its located towards the front. I also have to be aware of not interfearing with the tube-floor joint with the bottom attachment (or do an attachment loop upon putting it…[Read more]

    Hi!

Just order my first kit and eager to start. Since 9/10 times I use my packraft a Rod Holder is high on the wish list of modification.

Most types I have seen are external, as for example “the packraft table”.

I was thinking of making an internal rod holder, similar to this:

To do that on an inflatable my plan is to make a “sock” of nylon…[Read more]

    Sounds awesome,

I have had similar plans for northern Scandinavia that never left the drawing board (but not in the pile of lost dreams either :)).

I would absolutely go for packrafts and two boats. Using two boats will in my opinion add alto of safety. If one totally breaks down or is lost with combined injury,  you can take what is absolutely…[Read more]
