New Boston valves are now in stock! This is a slightly improved design over the previous Boston valves, with stronger plastic loops for keeping the parts together when they’re unscrewed. Best of all, the flange on the new valve is heat sealable, so there’s no need to use glue when installing it in heat sealable fabric!
The weight of the new valve is 44 grams (about 1.5 oz), which is a few grams more than the old version, but since no glue is required for installing it, the installed weight should be about the same.
