And we’re finally allowed to travel around Scotland! So I took my Skeena out to Loch Laidon on typical Scottish weather day 😉

Thanks for your interest in the Ultralight kits 🙂
I am planning to offer them again in the future, but sourcing fabric is an endless headache, so I’m not sure when it’ll happen.

Just putting in a vote/query for an ultralight kit becoming available again. If anyone else is keen, add a comment, perhaps Matt can gauge if the level of interest makes it worthwhile sorting the fabric and bringing these back.

Kinda wish I had this when I did my Skeena (I used an Aliexpress iron that I sanded down). I have no idea if it works, but reports on it look pretty g…[Read more]

I used a cheap hot air soldering station for three packrafts (Telkwa, 2P and UL). I think you will find it with different names, but it’s always something with “858D”. I bought this: https://www.amazon.de/Digital-Desoldering-Reparatur-Werkzeug-Elektrowerkzeuge/dp/B074N1FR9N
I dialed it to 270 °C and intensity of 3.5 for the normal…[Read more]
