Thi sis my V 3 build.
finally found all the leaks and realised my mistakes in building so after Ive tested this in water and had apply I intend to add inflated floor with sort of keel and a spray skirt of some kind. THEN I get to do it all again on a v3 in blue for my partner… -

I thought the same, but I found if you use masking tape to protect the TPU and use the entire flat surface of the iron, it goes pretty quick and makes a good seal. Then just use the tip for the finer details.

Tried a few test welds with a modified Coverite Black Baron. Worked pretty well but the iron could stand to be a tad hotter in my opinion. I had it on full blast. Is there a way to adjust the temperature control to go slightly hotter?

Just did the first inflation of the Voyageur. I extended the overall length by 16″ (40cm) to hopefully accommodate my wife and 7 year old on mellow water. I still need to build the inflatable floor, seats, and fix small leaks.
