It sounds like the air is escaping through the zipper – a few small bubbles could add up to 1-2 breaths per hour, no? This could probably be resolved by cleaning the zipper and reapplying lubricant. Ping ping ball paddles work great. I found that the kayak paddles are a bit awkward. With 2 separate paddles I can better prevent getting water in the boat and avoid moving the tail end of the boat back and forth as I paddle. First Dolly Varden of the year……..

Year two on my ghetto Voyageur build.  Paddled 11 miles today on a bear hunt, didn’t find a bear.  Pictured with a full pack, rifle, and two crab pots.  This thing is ugly, but it serves a purpose.
